Cookie Policy
Version 2.4 · Last updated: September 25, 2026
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. This page explains which ones madyhr.ai uses, on these US pages as on the rest of the site, and how to control them. The US edition you sign in to, at us.madyhr.ai, has its own Privacy Policy; section 9 covers its cookies.
We set cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for without asking first. Anything else needs your consent first.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are always set. Without them, MadyHR does not work, so there is no way to switch them off.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (ukg_hr_session) | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Contains a signed token identifying your user account and your company, nothing else, and cannot be read by JavaScript | 8 hours, refreshed while you keep using MadyHR |
| CSRF token (ukg_hr_csrf) | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | 8 hours, alongside the session cookie |
| Staff session (ukg_hr_platform_session, ukg_hr_platform_csrf) | The same two cookies for our internal administration console. Set only for MadyHR staff, never for a customer | Length of the staff session |
| Cloudflare security cookies (such as __cf_bm) | Set by Cloudflare, which protects madyhr.ai, to distinguish genuine visitors from automated attacks | Up to 30 days |
Marketing cookies: the Meta Pixel, the Reddit Pixel and the Google Ads tag, only if you accept
We do not use analytics cookies, and we embed no social media widgets. The only non-essential cookies on madyhr.ai are those of three advertising tools: the Meta Pixel, which measures how well our advertising on Facebook and Instagram works, the Reddit Pixel, which does the same for our advertising on Reddit, and the Google Ads tag, which does the same for our ads on Google Search. For example, they tell us how many people who saw an ad went on to create an account.
None of them is loaded until you say yes. If you decline, or simply never answer, none is requested, no request is made to Meta, Reddit or Google, and no marketing cookie is set. The Google Ads tag also runs in Google's "consent mode", set to refuse by default, so it stores nothing unless you have accepted. Declining changes nothing about what this site does: every page, every tool and the whole of the product behave the same either way, and nothing is behind a cookie wall.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Pixel (_fbp, and cookies Meta sets on facebook.com) | Measures how well our advertising on Facebook and Instagram works. Loaded from Meta and set by Meta, only after you accept | Set by Meta, typically up to 90 days for _fbp |
| Reddit Pixel (_rdt_uuid, and cookies Reddit sets on reddit.com) | Measures how well our advertising on Reddit works. Loaded from Reddit and set by Reddit, only after you accept | Set by Reddit, for the period its cookie notice gives |
| Google Ads tag (_gcl_au, and cookies Google sets on google.com and doubleclick.net) | Measures how well our ads on Google Search work. Loaded from Google and set by Google, only after you accept | Set by Google, typically up to 90 days for _gcl_au |
The Meta Pixel's cookies are set by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, not by us, and Meta is a separate controller for what it does with them: see Meta's privacy policy and its cookie policy. The Reddit Pixel's cookies are set by Reddit, not by us, and Reddit is a separate controller for what it does with them: see Reddit's privacy policy and its cookie notice. The Google Ads tag's cookies are set by Google Ireland Limited, not by us, and Google is a separate controller for what it does with them: see Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Whenever one of them runs it receives the address of the page you are on, your IP address and general browser information.
Once you accept, each of them loads on every page of this site, including the screens inside your account. What changes inside your account is what they are told: we do not report page views there, so none is sent a record of you moving around your own HR data. They are told about things that happen inside an account: creating it, completing a payment, and, for Meta only, starting a checkout. Like any pixel event, those carry the address of the page you were on.
We never pass them names, employee records or anything else about the people in your account. The one exception to "no email addresses" is Meta, and only if you accepted: when you create an account or pay, our server tells Meta, with your email address in scrambled (hashed) form. The madyhr.ai Privacy Policy explains exactly what that message contains.
Cookies set by others
If you follow a link from madyhr.ai to another website, that site sets its own cookies and has its own policy. We have no control over them.
Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. Stripe sets cookies necessary for fraud prevention and to complete your payment, governed by Stripe's privacy policy and its cookie policy.
Other browser storage
These are not cookies. They are kept by your browser and never sent to us, but they do a similar job, so we list them too.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| madyhr.cookieConsent | Remembers whether you accepted or declined marketing cookies, and when, so we do not ask on every page. It is the record of your choice, so it is strictly necessary | Until you clear your browser storage or change your choice |
| madyhr.marketingEventsSent | Written only if you accept marketing cookies. Records which conversion events have already been reported to Meta from this browser, so none is counted twice. Contains no personal details | Until you clear your browser storage |
| madyhr.redditEventsSent | The same, for Reddit. Written only if you accept marketing cookies | Until you clear your browser storage |
| madyhr.attribution | Written only if you accept marketing cookies. The ad or link your first visit came from, the first page you saw and the referring website, so it can be recorded with your account if you sign up. Removed if you decline or withdraw consent | 30 days |
| madyhr.persona | Remembers whether you chose the employer or the adviser view on our home page | Until you clear your browser storage |
| madyhr.sidebarCollapsed | Remembers whether you collapsed the navigation sidebar | Until you clear your browser storage |
| madyhr.dashboardChecklistHidden | Remembers that you dismissed the setup checklist on your dashboard | Until you clear your browser storage |
| madyhr.recentPages | Remembers the last few screens you visited, so the search box can offer them again | Until you clear your browser storage |
Managing cookies
You can change your cookie choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of madyhr.ai, or the control on this page.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you do this, usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to MadyHR.
Your cookie choice is kept in this browser, not on your account, so it applies to this browser and this device. Clearing your site data clears it too, and we will ask again.
