UK licensed sponsors, mapped and tracked

MadyHR reads the Home Office register of licensed sponsors every working day, places each sponsor by the town on the register, and records what changes between publications.

The register published on Fri 23 Oct 2026 lists 127,813 sponsors — +1,335 added and −1,198 no longer listed since the publication of Wed 23 Sep 2026.

What the register is, and what it is not

The register of licensed sponsors: workers is published by the Home Office on GOV.UK and lists every employer licensed to sponsor people on the Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility and other work routes, with its town, licence type, rating and routes. It has no addresses, no company numbers and no history — each publication simply replaces the last.

That is why MadyHR keeps every publication it captures: the history, the changes between days and the map are built from those captures, and each view says which publication it describes. A licence lets an employer sponsor workers; it does not mean the employer is hiring, or that it would sponsor any particular person.
